<image:caption>Sync & Licensing Manager Music Gateway I grew to love all types of media at an early age. The fascination of how music could impact visuals. How the music could influence the feeling, the tempo and the emotion of a spot. Starting out as a DJ at the age of 13, House music was my obsession. Fast forward 10 years and electronic music is still a large influencer for me today but now I have learned it can be fused with blues, jazz, Latin music and the possibilities are endless. In 2015, towards the end of my studies, I decided to pivot to a world where I had been itching to be in for quite some time – the world of music and visuals. Since then I have been lucky enough to work with and place our member’s music with some awesome brands such as Netflix, HBO, Vice and many more.</image:caption>

She has been touring for over 20 years, since the tender age of 15 and started mixing FOH sound in her late teens having garnered all her experience and knowledge exclusively on tour. With extensive experience mixing live sound often in conjunction with tour/production management she has toured with a huge range of artists across a wide spectrum of musical styles around the world. Bryony is currently FOH engineer for multi-platinum selling singer Katie Melua, and the UK’s No.1 female country duo, Ward-Thomas. These days she works almost exclusively with female fronted acts, not at all by design but down to an increasing demand from such artistes and their management for more women in the touring party. She feels strongly however that there is glass ceiling hanging over FOH sound engineering as there are still so few women working at any kind of meaningful level in this role.</image:caption>
